Services
Hi, my name is Damion Hartley and I run Jump Start School of Motoring based in Wakefield. Selecting the right driving instructor is really important. Not only are you investing your money into the process but you are also investing your time too. According to the latest national statistics, it can take up to 45 hours to reach test standard and therefore you and your instructor could be spending a lot of time together. We realise that people are different with varying needs when they approach a driving school.
The national average to arrive at test standard is anything between 35 and 40 hours but can be reduced dependent on the above factors. In our experience, the most important factor is how much you are motivated to learn. Like any new skill the more you put in the more you get out! You can pay for lessons either by cash or cheque (cheques should be made payable to Mr D Hartley). Bank transfer is also accepted if that is an easy method. Bank details can be obtained on request.
As a way of supporting you through the theory test, FREE theory support and training is available for those who need it. Students are signed up to Theory Test Pro free of charge so you can revise for your test and theory revision sessions are organised separate to your driving lessons.
Each lesson is structured and follows a very close syllabus set out by the Driving and Vehicle Standards Agency, (DVSA). This syllabus is the course we will go through in order to pass your practical driving test. In order to keep track of your progress, you will have your own Progress Record linked to the syllabus so you keep track of your own learning and to ensure we cover every element. The syllabus will progress you through five skill levels. Once you have consistently reached level five you will then be ready to take your test.
