At The Driving Academy we offer an intensive driving course. We have 6 courses to choose from, all of which can be tailored to your individual needs. Much will depend on your previous driving experience, however, all the courses on offer include the opportunity for you to watch a department of transport video, which fully explains how the driving test is conducted and shows you a simulated driving test.

Lisa is a great instructor, she has alot of patience with me and gave me the confidence but more importantly she was honest with me after I had a bad experience with another driving instructor. I am pleased to be part of the turtle club! My husband also passed with Andrew from the driving academy and was happy with the company.

Lisa is the perfect instructor for nervous drivers and has a real gift to understand where a confidence issue is and fixing it. She doen't give up when we do and her feedback after a lesson is always honest whilst encouraging. Her skills, knowledge and enthusiasm for teaching are boundless. I am grateful our paths have met both as a trusted instructor and as an individual.

Utter waste of money. Very unsupportive, spent more time following directions from the instructor than the sat nav, so when it came to my test it was almost unfamiliar to me. After failing my test I proceeded to ask for further guidance and was told "i'm not sure that I can help"? What did i pay you 515 for. Would give Zero stars if it let me, decided to go with them due to them being the cheapest intensive course in Northampton, big mistake. Honestly learnt more on Youtube than during the lessons with Lisa.

Not sure what the other 1 star reviews are on about. Lisa was an amazing driving teacher and I never would have passed without her. Every week she pushed me to try something new where as my other driving teacher was happy to just sit in a car park and talk for an hour. I would recommend Lisa everyone I know because she's got a perfect balance of being friendly but also very honest when it comes to critiques, not to mention the fact she is an amazing driver who truly care about her job and pupils.

Honestly complete waste of time and 500, i had an instructor called "Lisa" she completely knocked away my confidence had zero faith in me and was extremely unsupportive especially when I didn't pass, they are just after your money without a care in the world if you pass or fail. Wasn't even taught how to use the sat nav properly as she would always "direct" me. If you're someone with anxiety definitely give this "driving school" a miss.

The task was first lesson to goalpost within a month - Claire worked around the clock to secure last minute driving tests and lessons, while other schools were quick to refuse. Instructors Andrew and Dave shone in their patience, good humour and knowledge and 30 days later the L plates are off - I salute them all! Absolutely recommended.
