Leanne L, Haydn has helped me after 3 years without a license after having it revoked on medical grounds. Haydn helped me regain my confidence in driving and enabled me to love it again. I took my assessment which went very well. I now have to sit and wait to see if I get my license back. Thank you Haydn for your help, patience, and advice.
The theory test is made up of a multiple choice part and a hazard perception part. You need to pass both parts to pass it. Once you have passed the theory test you can then apply to take your practical driving test. The multiple choice part is delivered using a touch screen computer and the hazard perception part records your responses through the use of a computer mouse button.
Your driving test will start with the examiner asking to see your driving licence and asking you to sign an insurance declaration, he will ask if you want your instructor to come with you on your test, remember it is your test so, it is up to you to decide, talk with your instructor about this during your lessons, don't wait until you're at the test centre to think about this. On the way to your vehicle the examiner will do the eyesight check. You must be able to read a number plate from a distance of 20 metres.
At the start of your practical driving test the examiner will ask you two "Show me Tell Me" questions. The questions concern general maintenance and safety checks on your car. Q1 When it's safe to do so, can you show me how you wash and clean the rear windscreen? A. Operate the washers and wipers are on the right hand stalk, push away from you for rear wash/wiper.

I have worked with Haydn as about 5 or 6 years at mobility roadshows and other events. Haydn has many years of experience in teaching people with disabilities and special eduactional needs. As a fellow director of Disability Driving Instructors Haydn is at the forefront of the driving instruction industry when it comes to teaching disabled and SEN pupils to drive.

I would 100% recommend Haydn to anyone wanting to learn to drive. Very easy to talk to and has a good sense of humour. Stays very patient and calm while teaching which helps settle your nerves, and definitely helped me when it came to getting over a mistake I made and getting over some pre-test nerves! Thank you so much!

I was told to try and get in touch with Haydn as he was highly recommended to me. I am happy I did as I was looking at trying to drive a left handed throttle car as my new mobility car was being fitted with a left hand throttle I found it very weird to do but Haydn helped to relax me and got me going well with it. The way Haydn got me to get use to driving it left footed was make it a very relaxed and happy atmosphere in the car and we were just chatting and laughing which took my mind off it and now I feel with his help I can now go ahead comfortably and drive my new car with out worrying about it all the time.

I would highly recommend anyone to get in touch with Haydn as he will get you up and moving again with the best form of attachment you need on your car I would give 5 out of 5 for this service. Go on do it you will not regret going for a drive

Haydn came to deliver a talk to my ADI association about teaching people to drive with Specific Educational Needs and Disabilites. He came across as very professional, but friendly and approachable. I went away with a great deal more knowledge on the subject, and had numerous other ADIs tell me how enjoyable and informative it was. I will always go to Haydn for advice on this subject where he clearly has a vast experience and knowledge.

He has a real passion for getting people the independence of driving, whatever their ability. That passion goes as far as helping other instructors to do the same. I wouldn't hesitate to call on his expertise again. Thank you once again, Haydn.

Amazing had my first driving taster lesson at mobility road show and I loved it since then I've had the driving bug wanting to do it again (will one day). Even went out on to the set out track couldn't been any better. Thank you hopefully we will meet again.
