Your driving lessons will be delivered personally by Neil Parkes. Neil is a very patient, highly qualified and highly experienced local driving instructor who has achieved a top grade six check test on two occasions.

I chose Prodrive Driving School through a friends recommendation and found learning to drive much easier than I expected. The teaching methods were thorough and I was provided with useful techniques. I would recommend Prodrive to my friends because of their very patient and friendly service. I can offer you two hour lessons and a regular weekly slot (if available) to ensure you receive the best possible value for your money and continuity to reduce your learning period.All lessons will end with a five minute summary to reflect on the learning that has taken place and to cement a firm understanding before leaving the vehicle.
Many learner students and their parents assume that all driving schools and driving instructors are the same. After all, they are qualified and trained to prepare learner drivers to pass their driving test. Well it may come as a surprise, but not all driving instructors are fully qualified at all! It's been a long-standing issue within the driving school industry that 'trainee' instructors are allowed by law to charge driving lesson prices at the same lesson rate as fully qualified instructors and many driving schools do not mention this when students are booking their lessons.
We offer two BTEC Level 2 courses: Award in Safe Driving for learners and a fully funded Certificate in Workskills (QCF) for instructors. The BTEC Level 2 Award: Safe Driving is a recognised qualification which will give you the following benefits:. A vocational qualification to develop your CV or personal statement and help separate you from other candidates with similar experience and qualifications. It shows an employee, college or university that you have the motivation to develop your skills beyond the normal required standard.

Neil is brilliant, really could not ask for more from an instructor. Vast knowledge, great observation, patient, professional and friendly. I had a bad experience with my previous instructor which had knocked my confidence and left me with some bad habits. Neil sorted these out in no time and I started to enjoy driving again. Passed my test with 4 driver faults. Thank you again for all your help.

Often learning to drive can be a very daunting and scary experience but not with Prodrive driving school. From start to finish Neil makes you feel relaxed and at ease. He has the patience of a saint and only wants the best for each of his students. Neil helps you to gain and maintain your confidence when driving especially when your doubting yourself.
