ABC Driver Training is a well-established Driving School based in Hucknall, Nottinghamshire. We offer high standards of driver training on a one-to-one basis at very competitive prices. The pace at which people learn can differ greatly so our friendly and very patient instructors ensure that each lesson is specifically designed to YOUR needs.

At ABC we believe that learning to drive should be an enjoyable and positive experience right from lesson one. Our cars are kept in pristine condition and frequently replaced to ensure maximum driving pleasure. With automotive technology advancing year on year it is also helpful to keep up to date with standard industry changes. For example all of our current training cars come with ABS and power steering as standard, and some even have cruise control as standard.

ABC Driver Training offers competitive prices based on the days and times that you are available to take your driving lessons. Due to most people wanting to take their driving lessons after work/school we class this time as Peak Time. If you are able to take your lessons during the daytime then the price is cheaper due to better availability, this is classed as Off Peak time.

So you want to learn to drive? OK, the first thing you will need to do is to obtain a Provisional Licence. You can apply for the provisional licence when you are 16, but you are not allowed to drive a car on public roads until you are 17. On average, those who pass their test have had 47 hours of professional instruction and 20 hours of private practice.
