I would highly recommend Accelerate Driving School. I have dyspraxia and my instructor, Pete, was fantastic at helping me learn to drive. He made me feel very comfortable in lessons and was very patient, as over time, we both learnt more the quirks of learning as someone with dyspraxia. Pete was also very good at knowing when to pause the lesson, for a brief amount of time, to engage in small talk, which not only builds a relationship between learner and instructor, but helps with the lesson as it resets the brain, especially if a hazard has just happened.

The lessons were always fun but also challenging. I had two lessons a week, for the majority of my time, and I always looked forward to them. Due to Pete's teaching, I ended up passing on my first test, with three minor faults, and I couldn't be happier. A very good experience all round.

Definitely recommend this driving school! Had daniel as an instructor and couldn't of ask for a better one. Being at uni made it harder to do lessons but he always went out his way to make time for me. Passed first time and feel so confident driving now thanks to him! Thanks so much!

I took driving lessons with Peter over the past few months. He was very friendly, flexible, gave great feedback and prepared me well for the test. Luckily I've passed my test and am not in need of further lessons, but I would happily work with him again and recommend him highly to others!

Highly recommend this driving school, if you're looking to learn to drive in south Nottingham this is definitely the best school to learn with. I had automatic lessons with Pete and he was a fantastic instructor. He was friendly, explained things easily and really prepared me for my test. I originally learnt with Dan in 2013 but didn't continue for various reasons - start back with Dan last year and passed today first time. Cracking instructor who is patient, understanding but also pushes you to do your best every lesson. Would recommend Dan at Accelerate to anyone!

I passed my driving test the first time today and it's largely due to Daniel Baines's (Accelerate Driving School) quality instructions, high standards, professionalism and encouragement. I do have some experience driving in other countries, but not in the UK, and within 5.5 weeks, Daniel worked with me to get me up to the UK's stricter driving standard. I would DEFINITELY recommend Daniel to anyone that would like to drive safely and well.

I would highly recommend Accelerate Driving School. I passed my test last week - first time and with no minors thanks to Daniel and his amazing teaching. He is patient, professional and always makes sure I know what I'm doing before moving on.

I have had an excellent experience learning to drive with accelerate driving school. Dan was my instructor, he was ver clear with his communication, a very good teacher and felt that not only have I learned a great deal from him, but have also gained a lot of confidence in my driving abilities. So thankful to Jon who taught me how to drive and helped me pass my test first time! He went through everything thoroughly and and made sure i was confident with everything before taking my test. Honestly would recommend to anyone learning to drive.

It is been a great journey at this driving school, I just passed today and one of the big reasons that I passed is I had a great driving instructor named Daniel at this school I recommend everyone that is learning to drive to learn here.

I would like to take this chance to say a big thank you to John for helping me learn how to drive and giving me enough confidence to be able to take my driving test - even when things weren't going my way. I passed my driving test yesterday morning and it was a massive relief! With the combination of John being so patient and encouraging it only took me 10 lessons before I was allowed on the road on my own!

I took automatic driving lessons with Pete and passed first time im absolutely over the moon and its not quite sunk in yet! Felt comfortable straight away and could not of asked for a better driving instructor he is professional, patient and always gave the best advice on how to improve my driving, thanks for everything mate!

I passed first time in an automatic car with Pete, and he was an exceptional teacher. I could not have asked for a better instructor; most notable was his patience, kindness, knowledge and assertiveness. As a result of Pete's teaching, I now drive with confidence and safety. I highly recommend Pete to anyone that is looking for an instructor that will provide productive and informative lessons, delivered with professionalism and calmness.

I was particularly impressed with Pete's modern approach to instant and retrospective feedback; Pete used his iPad to demonstrate and visualise basic and complex maneuvers, and after each lesson I filled out a reflective writing entry to identify and correct any driving errors made. Overall I am thoroughly grateful to have been taught by Pete, and I would not hesitate in recommending him to any prospective learner.

I had the pleasure of working with Jon and I managed to pass first time. He's simply a great teacher, experienced, attentive and patient when required. My progress wasn't always linear, however he made sure we worked on exactly what was needed, to get the the job done. He's a great laugh as well. Highly recommended. Chris

I would definitely recommend Accelerate. I took many lessons with Pete who was always up for a laugh and a very thorough teacher. I over-complicated driving and would let worries build up, but Pete always knew how to help me. I know I will be a safer driver in the future thanks to his teaching.

Thanks Jon for being relaxed and easy going during my driving lessons. I passed with just a few minors my first time. I recommend Jon and Accelerate Driver training for your lessons and if you are a nervous driver like me.

Cannot recommend accelerate driver training enough. Mike took me on with only 12 weeks till my test as a nervous wreck behind the wheel was patient with me and very down to earth. I don't think I would of passed first time without him
