Drive With Dan

Dan is a great teacher and a mind reader! So experienced that he can recognise mistakes before you make them and will talk you through it so you know how to avoid it. The way he talks through manoeuvres and difficult roads before tackling them really helps with preparation! Dan's calm composure is what I needed when learning to drive. I feel safe and at ease both driving with him and now that I've passed thanks to his lessons - highly recommend :

Dan was amazing! He is an excellent instructor, patient, knowledgeable, professional and last but not least friendly. I was desperately trying to find someone to train me for my practical test and Fortunately I found him. Today I passed my test and I am a much better and safer driver now thanks to him. 1000% recommended!

Dan is a brilliant driving instructor. We had three driving instructors for my daughter before we found Dan and it's so true what they say. 'a good teacher makes a good student' and Dan is just that! An absolutely excellent teacher. He kept a note of everything covered in each lesson, he was patient, calm and positive. He is also extremely reliable and a great communicator.

I needed to get an UK driving license, despite being an experienced driver in my home country, so booked a few lessons with Dan. Had a great experience. Lessons were tailored around my goals, like getting rid of bad habits and learning the specifics of what was expected from me during the exam. Dan is excellent at teaching, he is patient and thorough. Also, very good sense of humor, as mentioned in other reviews! Highly recommended!

Dan made my driving lessons comfortable and fun. I was allowed to choose what we practised in my lessons. Dan has great flexibility of what times lessons are and where to pick you up around Southampton. Dan has a good sense of humour and I found all my lessons stress free Overall dan is a superb instructor who goes above and beyond to make sure you pass. Would strongly recommend Dan if your thinking about learning to drive.

Dan was a great driving instructor: methodical, always calm, and very funny too. Really decent prices and he always gives you the maximum time driving, and doesn't try to rip you off by talking your ear off. Actually, I think I talked HIS ear off. Best one of my 4 instructors! :

Dan's the guy to go to if you want to pass your driving test and more importantly, if you want to learn to drive well and drive safe. He's super patient, adapts his ways of instructing to the learner's needs and abilities and has a great sense of humour which I think helps a great deal to keep calm when you're out there being a learner on the mean roads. :D He helped me get past my nervousness (which was at awfully high levels) and built my confidence to drive. I just passed my driving test, and that was even in bad weather conditions, when it was pouring down. And all credits go to Dan.

I passed first time with confidence. Dan is a brilliant instructor who made me feel calm and relaxed behind the wheel. He helped me overcome by fears without being too pushy. I was able to progress each lesson at my own pace. I highly recommend Dan as an instructor whatever your level of driving.

Turned my worries of learning to drive into a positive experience. (Passed! And not scared anymore!). I was really nervous about learning to drive, my friend recommended Dan. I found Dan really patient and encouraging. He made me feel reassured that I was safe and he could intervene when necessary, he rationalised my concerns and eventually I began to really look forward to the lessons.

I work in the hospital and Dan was really understanding of I had issues at work and needed to delay or cancel a lesson (which happened once or twice). If I booked for example a one hour slot, I would be driving for one hour, and have a few mins chat before and after that slot to discuss learning. From what my friend who referred me, and the friend I referred to Dan have said, he is great at meeting each learners individual needs.

I recommend Dan, and I will see him again for a refresher before getting my first car. I feel like Dan prepares you to be a safe/good driver, not just to pass the test. The price is in line with the standard rate in Southampton, but the quality is excellent.

Dan is a great driving instructor, he is very funny and has good conversations which make you feel at ease when driving. Dan caters lessons to your needs and wants ensuring that you have the skills and confidence needed to pass your test.

After 2 rubbish driving instructors Dan was finally the one to make me pass, he made it so simple and made you feel comfortable and relax, Thank you Dan! I will be referring him to everyone I know!

Passed my test first time today thanks to Dan, couldn't recommend him enough. He is a fantastic instructor and would always push the right amount to ensure I was progressing each lesson but would always make sure I was comfortable doing it. Every lesson I was importing new skills and tricks into my driving so it was more safe and controlled. He was always enthusiastic and I had a blast learning to drive with him. Thanks again Dan.
