El's Driving School is a professional driving school based in Southeast London. We also cover; West Wickham, Bromley, Beckenham, Hayes, Chislehurst, Catford, Lewisham, Downham, Forest hill, and many other areas.Elgin is a fully qualified Driving Instructor and has been teaching learners successfully since 2005. We are a friendly, patient and reliable driving school. We are also CRB checked for peace of mind.
We are currently using the Nissan Micra, which is an excellent car to learn in as it is small and the all round visibility is very good.
At El's Driving School we understand that learning to drive can be costly and time consuming.
So we have decided to create a Loyalty Scheme for our most dedicated and serious learners!
Most learners require on average 25+ driving lessons. With our Loyalty Scheme, the more driving lessons you have, the cheaper it gets.

Passed my test first time! I had to take my test in Sidcup due to backlog caused by COVID. It's not the easiest area nor the one I am overly familiar with. Elgin helped me prepare and took me to Sidcup a couple of times. I thoroughly enjoyed my lessons with Elgin, he is patient and super friendly which made my lessons much more enjoyable. He knows how to put people at ease so I felt no pressure during my lessons. I would highly recommend EL's driving school to anyone!

Elgin was a great instructor. I went to Elgin having already attempted (and failed) a test with another instructor and he was brilliant at helping me to improve my driving across the board (especially my parking which needed some help!). He was very patient and professional and explained everything clearly. I passed in West Wickham and would highly recommend him as a teacher for anyone looking to learn in an automatic.

5 Star service all the way through! I thoroughly enjoyed all of my driving lessons, even with the stop/start due to Covid restrictions. Elgin is professional, patient and very knowledgeable (with a great sense of humour). He gave me the confidence to believe I was a capable driver and with his expertise, I passed my test first time! Elgin is an absolutely brilliant instructor. He worked with me in between the lockdowns and I'm very proud to say, he prepped me to pass on my first attempt. He looks out for the detail and ensures you practise your weaker points more and he will encourage you to trust yourself when he can see you're ready.

First time successful! Elgin is a professional and a thorough instructor. He observed my driving and he picked up on the areas that I was struggling with. My major problems were observations and signalling. He drilled me and he polished me. Also, he knows what the examiners are looking for and he prepared me well enough to impress the examiners. He is no time waster and I would strongly recommend him.

I had many previous instructors but definitely felt I learnt so much more with Elgin. He helped me improve my skills so much more. I was a nervous driver but El helped to build my confidence and I passed with all his knowledge & professionalism. I am so grateful & can't recommend El Driving School enough!

I passed my test this week (first time) after just 2 weeks of lessons with Elgin. I was lucky to be able to book my test on the first day back after restrictions were lifted and Elgin made sure I was well prepared and felt confident. I'm an experienced driver and required a UK driving test, so I was happy when Elgin didn't try to get me to purchase more classes than necessary. He is punctual, friendly, clear with his instructions, and very experienced in the local area. Would highly recommend for any learner at any skill level.

I would recommend using this driving school as they are very professional and keep to the date and time you have booked. I always finished each lesson with a feeling of achievement and knew what I needed to work on for the next lesson. All questions were always answered with honesty and helpful advice. Very good value for money and very knowledgeable.
I enjoyed my experience learning to drive and passed with only 1 minor. I also asked for an extra lesson after passing my test to help over come my parking phobia. I can now park with confidence. I would give this driving school 10/10.

Couldn’t recommend Elgin enough. I’ve had several instructors in the Bromley area, and reached a point where I had taken nearly a years worth of lessons with minimal progression. I then found El’s driving school’s details online. After a few lessons my confidence improved massively and I found I was understanding elements of driving that I had struggled with previously. I took my test after 15 lessons and finally passed. Delighted with the results!
