I have passed my practical test and got my licence 4 years ago, but I'm only now getting a car. Lately I have watched many videos on Youtube from Richard's channel and I have been very impressed of how clear and well everything is explained. Absolutely brilliant! Not only that every technical aspect about driving is so well explained, but Richard truly understands the psihological side of a new driver, which is a quality that you rarely see among driving instructors. I would thoroughly recommend Richard to anyone considering driving/ refresher lessons. As a refresher returning after 9 years without driving, I was apprehensive about getting behind the wheel again. Richards knowledge, enthusiasm and didactic approach soon had me feeling confident again. I felt the lessons were tailored to my needs and the feedback was very useful including reflecting at the end of lessons.
I would particularly encourage visiting the Conquer Driving YouTube channel to consolidate between lessons. Short, well made, clear instructional videos relevant to all aspects of driving.

At first i never thought i would be able to drive, it seemed so hard, but the best decision i made was to go with Conquer Driving, Richard is very methodical and has a great attitude towards teaching people to drive, very friendly and very smart at problem solving when it comes to learning, if you're looking to learn then i cannot recommend Conquer Driving enough!

Richard is both very likeable and easygoing as an instructor, but by far his greatest assets are his excellent range teaching skills and his flexible approach. He takes his responsibility to ensure you know what you need to know very seriously and is a font knowledge and advice that he tailors to your situation. I was a very nervous driver and despite the difficulty - especially at the start - I always felt supported and safe. Every week I came away with something new. Thanks, Rich - it was a heck of a ride.
