In 2005, Anthony Johnson qualified as a driving instructor passing all of his exams first time and immediately started up his own driving school. You will find Anthony working in the office more than on the roads now, though he still holds all of his qualifications - including his grade A 51/51 standards check awarded by the DVSA.

I am lucky to have had Rob Thomas as my driving instructor. Through every step of my driving journey Rob remained patient, reassuring, and in doing so boosted my confidence massively; the progress I made because of him is astronomical. He not only has an amazing teaching style, but understands the pupil and brings the best out of you. I will really miss our lessons, which I looked forward to weekly; if you are looking for a friendly and reliable instructor who also maintains professionalism and, first and foremost, teaches you how to be safe on the road, then I would highly recommend Rob.

Paul Towers in the Chingford area is an excellent instructor and I've progressed immensely in my driving since beginning lessons with him - with his calm manner of teaching he's instilled me with confidence and self belief in my ability, which I didn't have when I first started my lessons with him. I'm progressing well with his teaching and looking forward to taking my test soon when a slot is available locally. Highly recommend him.

I was taught by Rob Thomas and had a great experience whilst learning to drive. Rob is a very patient and friendly instructor who provided me with lots of support throughout all my driving lessons. I was really nervous before I started, but Rob helped me overcome my worries and fears in regards to driving. Thanks to him I passed my test as a safe and confident driver!

My driving instructor was Nicola and she was honestly incredible, due to covid and personal reasons it took me 2 years to get ready for my test but she never pushed me too much to take a test early or was honest enough if she knew I wasn't ready for a test. Thanks to her I passed my theory first time and also my practical with 3 minors! Couldn't recommend her enough, any future student of hers has a bright driving future ahead

This driving school has some fantastic instructors. Michael from Hertfordshire region is really great when I was learning over there. Alan Beer from Milton Keynes is the best teacher I have ever had. He won't teach you just to pass the test but he will mentor you in becoming the safest driver on the road. I have had serious amount of lessons before and just over 10hrs of lesson with Alan has made me a confident and a better driver. Without his help I wouldn't have made it today. If you want to learn on becoming a great driver ask for Alan Beer. Once again thank you so much for the best lessons.

I was very fortunate have discovered drive Johnson's. At the time, I was in desperate need for my drivers license and was working a very tight schedule surrounding the pandemic. Although I applied at such short notice, they were very accommodating of my situation and even scheduled classes for me at my convenience, all of this at a discounted rate!
A special mention is required of my instructor Kenny Brown, who effortlessly helped me understand my mistakes and at the same time made me feel comfortable and confident driving in a new country. His car was relatively very new and up to date and felt very safe while learning. I had my test during the holidays and Kenny was particularly helpful in making himself available at the time. In short it was a wonderful experience and I would recommend this service without a doubt.

Started learning how to drive after the lock down measures allowed me to do so and tried a couple of driving instructors until I was placed with Anthony Flaherty. He made me feel instantly comfortable and at ease. He has a very high level of professionalism but is also very personable which helped me to relax. He never gets irritated with the same questions or any mistakes I made and gave me the confidence to believe in myself that I could do it.
I would recommend him to any new driver as I had 0 experience and passed first time. I will be continuing with Anthony for motorway lessons as he is the only one I trust to help me.

I passed my driving test at the first time in Mill Hill, London. Thanks to Mr. Ahmed Yasser, who really helped and made me feel comfortable and poised. He always delivers the classes from a high standard of professionalism and the teaching methods along with the visual aids helped me to be a confident and safe driver. He is very punctual, communicated well via text, and gave me a lot of freedom to gain confidence around my local area, then move further to practice A roads and different towns in preparation for my test. I passed my test and I feel I have been taught to not only feel confident in myself, but know that I am a safe driver. Thanks to the hard work!

Andy was an excellent instructor. I enjoyed his lesson. He was always their explaining over and over again. He was so patient and understanding. He would quickly recognised when I'm about to start panicking and he would talk me through and calm me down. He helped me gain confidence and be positive about myself but most importantly he thought me to fight my fears. I really can't thank him enough. I wish you all the best. Stay safe.

Had a really great experience with my driving instructor Hayley, she was really honest and patient with me. As well as very accommodating to my schedule with the pandemic and me going off to university. She did her best to help on the run up to the test to make sure I passed which I did first time. Really recommend Hayley and the company.

Lee Serwatka is an amazing driving instructor, always remaining calm, compassionate and reassuring even throughout high stress driving experiences. He is extremely flexible and allowed me to have lessons at different times each week to suit my schedule and was always punctual. Lee has a wealth of knowledge and was able to explain things clearly and simply, ensuring that I fully understood the concept before moving on and thanks to Lee's expertise and excellent teaching, I was able to pass my driving test first time! I would 100% recommend Lee as a driving instructor!

I am please to say how satisfied I am with the driving lessons I'm taking through Drive Johnson in Canary Wharf. The lessons are very structured and planned. I am happy with the progress I am making in such as sort period of time and hopefully soon I will be ready to undertake my test. Noor has been an amazing instructor in Bow, giving fun, structured lessons with a clear plan allowing me to build my skills with his clear explanations. My confidence has been built with him helping me understand my faults and rectify them, and through his patience and encouragement. Lee is a fabulous driving instructor. He really helped me understand driving through his in depth knowledge and skills. Lee was very good at understanding the areas of driving I needed to work on and explained these to me in an effective way. This enabled me to become a confident driver. It was a excellent experience. Ahmad is the best driving instructor I ever had. I have done two driving tests. In my first attempt, I failed due to my parking. Ahmad spent a lot of time to discuss how I could improve in both driving and parking as well as encouraging me all the time. Thank you very much for his help!

Wow wow wow!! I finally passed me test today and over the moon. I came to drivejohnsons after failing 2 previous tests and they put me with Nick.
