Steve has been an amazing driving instructor and is the reason I was able to pass my test first time. He is patient, kind and very understanding. As someone who had tried learning multiple times before, Steve is the first instructor I have wanted to stick with due to his skill and ability to work with me to correct where I was going wrong. I have always been anxious in cars and Steve dealt with that very well, so I would highly recommend him for anyone who is nervous about driving. Steve, thank you so much for everything!

Had a great driving experience with Steve - he's patient, calm and understanding and made me reflect on the things I was worried about, such as worrying about holding up traffic as a learner, and tackling busy roads. Thanks to Steve I've gone from being terrified of getting behind the wheel to feeling confident on the road. I passed first time after months of thinking I couldn't do it! 100% recommend.

Steve is a fantastic driving instructor, he doesn't just simply go through the motions of just driving around and doing manoeuvres as previous instructors did with me, but really focusses on your weaknesses and tailors his learning technique to your learning style by inquisitive conversation and observation, digging out the root causes of why you may be doing things a certain way and modifying his teachings to suit. Needless to say, these are the traits of a highly skilled instructor and I couldn't recommend him more! Plus, on top of that, he's a really good bloke and a good laugh! Thank you Steve for getting me my well overdue pass!

I studied under Steve just over 2 years ago, to this day he is still one of the most competent drivers I have ever ridden with and that extends to his teaching ability. He is extremely calm and patient, he extends himself to discover the best methods of teaching his students personally and their learning style. He's a great communicator and can narrow down issues very quickly and help you get up to speed in areas you might be finding difficult. If I had to learn again, I wouldn't hesitate to go back to Kinghams. Cheers Steve!

Steve is without doubt imho the benchmark for all driving instructors to strive to reach. He is patient, knowledgeable and extremely experienced in how to train you to become a good confident driver and most importantly he explains clearly and concisely how to drive well and pass your test with confidence. It was a pleasure to have Steve as my driving instructor and could not have passed with out him. Steve's great at identifying strengths and weaknesses and does a fantastic job at explaining where you've gone wrong and how you can improve. He's calm and humble personality really contributed to my learning experience as I felt less nervous and more in control of the vehicle throughout lessons and during my test. Steve is an excellent driving instructor! One of the problems I faced was being taught to a late stage by another instructor. My knowledge was there but Steve refined my skills to help me pass easily and confidently.
