Statistics show that new drivers are more likely to have an accident in the first two years after passing their test, due to lack of driving experience. Pass Plus is not a driving test but a 6 hour course (minimum) that will build on your current skills and knowledge. It will teach you how to anticipate, plan for and deal with all kinds of hazards, and help you become a more confident driver. A Pass Plus course can be taken at any time, but it's ideally taken in the first year after passing your driving test.
2. Tell me where you'd find the information for the recommended tyre pressures for this car and how tyre pressures should be checked. Manufacturer's guide, use a reliable pressure gauge, check and adjust pressures when tyres are cold, don't forget spare tyre, remember to refit valve caps. 3. Tell me how you make sure your head restraint is correctly adjusted so it provides the best protection in the event of a crash.
Take particular care when driving in fog, especially at night. Fog can be patchy, going from a light mist to a thick blanket in an instant. Obviously, the faster you drive in these conditions, the less time you will have to avoid danger. Use dipped headlights and fog lights if visibility is reduced so you can be seen.
Richard has been a brilliant driving instructor! He ensured I was being challenged to improve my driving performance in every lesson so no time was wasted. He always identified my areas of weakness by providing critical feedback so we could work on turning them into strengths. He was extremely informative whenever I had any questions or uncertainties and his ability to keep me calm and relaxed in situations where I was unsettled was also fantastic. As well as ensuring my lessons were worthwhile in terms of increasing my driving experience and learning, he kept it interesting for me by finding common topics of interest and made the whole thing an enjoyable experience rather than a chore.

Jen Wheatley - A massive thank you to Richard for getting me through my test at the first attempt with only 1 minor fault at the age of 68 never having driven before. I was very nervous to start with but Richard put me at ease straight away and always taught me at a pace that suited me. He was very patient (sometimes he REALLY needed to be!) and when I did go wrong, he calmly explained the problem and how to correct it going forward. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone.
