Huge thank you to my instructor Sharon - you really couldn't ask for a better instructor - so amazingly calm and understanding but at the same time pushes you to achieve your best and doesn't let you get away with any bad habits. I passed my test 2nd time last week with the help of wonderful Frank! I was lucky enough to experience two wonderful instructors in trident, started off with Pennie but had to change due to going back to work. Frank took over and was incredibly patient and kind!! I passed 2nd time yesterday , my instructor Frank has been absolutely brilliant and helped me get to my goal of passing which I never thought would happen .I was very nervous when I started , but now I'm confident and have got over my fear of slip roads (never new it possible ) , I can't thank Frank enough !!!!!!!!would 100% recommend

I passed with Frank just before Christmas 2019. I chose to do the practical in my own car and Frank completely supported me in my decision, he even wanted to come out with me in my car. He is very flexible in terms of finding time slots for lessons if you have a different schedule each week, and will always go the extra mile to support you. I definitely recommend Frank and Trident Driver Training as a whole!

Her communication in arranging lessons at the beginning was brilliant to her calm, trusting and supportive lessons. Pennie was always understanding and took time to learn about each student. She was brilliant at explaining things (particularly roundabouts) over and over again until I understood them. I really enjoyed learning with Pennie and was over the moon to pass first time. I passed first time with Nigel and I really cannot recommend him enough. I had first started learning to drive when I was 17 but was very nervous and eventually gave up - over 10 years later I decided to try again!
Nigel was really calm and relaxed, yet professional and methodical - he answered all my questions and explained everything really clearly making me feel more at ease being behind the wheel again!
I was definitely not a confident driver, I had a bit of a fear of roundabouts and going over 15mph...but with Nigel's help and patience I got over all my fears and passed first time with only three minors. Also worth mentioning that he's just a genuinely nice guy and we had a bit of a laugh!

I passed first time!! Highly recommend learning to drive with Nigel. He’s a great teacher and adapts his teaching style to your individual needs. I felt very relaxed around him and learnt a lot! He’s very encouraging and positive (even when things take a couple of attempts!) Whenever I felt disheartened Nigel built my confidence back up again by the end of the lesson. Thank you so much Nigel, couldn’t have done it without you,it’s been great learning with you!

Today I passed with Frank Hodge whom is the best driving instructor I could’ve ever asked for! He gave me so much confidence behind the wheel and was always challenging me to be the best and safest driver I could be. Not only is he a very skilful instructor but he is incredibly kind, supportive and light hearted. He never made me feel under pressure or uncomfortable and was very calm no matter the mistakes I made. I would highly recommend Frank as a driving instructor and will miss our lessons, thank you so much Frank!

Pennie is an amazing instructor, she makes you feel at ease straight away and always on time. She teaches you lots of helpful routines and gives fantastic Structured lessons to help you feel confident with your ability to drive safely. I passed my test yesterday, third time with no minors! I couldn't have asked for a more patient, encouraging and engaging instructor. Nigel is methodical and understanding, taking time at the end of every lesson to recap and review what we had achieved and what needed to be improved upon. This really helped me understand everything thoroughly and helped me track my progress.
During times that I was frustrated or anxious Nigel was calm and made me feel confident in my abilities. I feel that learning to drive has boosted my confidence in my everyday life as a whole and it proves that if you really work hard at something you can achieve it, this is something that will stay with me for the rest of my life so having the right instructor is so important, this is why I would recommend Nigel to anyone!

I passed today first time with Frank as my instructor. I was very nervous to start learning to drive back in February and I couldn’t have asked for a better instructor than Frank. He’s a very calm and collected instructor which allows you to feel very at ease throughout all of your lessons. I can’t thank him and Trident Driver Training enough for helping me get my license.

Passed my test with Andy today and he has been the perfect instructor over the last 7 months. When we first met I was hesitant to even get in the drivers seat of the car, today I was able to pass first time with no real issues. Thanks ever so much for my amazing instructor Steve who as been so helpful in every way possible as I needed to pass my test very quickly as I was moving out of the UK to go back home in France. It was not easy for the both of us as I was working full time in a restaurant so not much time for me to take lessons ( one and sometime two a week and without driving on the side) but Steve been wonderful and always find space for me so I strongly recommend him as the Best of the Best 😊 very calm and always knowing how to make you understand everything in a best way!
