As a photo is required for your licence the DVLA can use your passport photo if you have one. If you don't have one, or you want to use a different one, this will need to be sent to the DVLA separately. You can find costs for all licence types here. Before you start the hazard perception part of the test, you'll be shown a short video clip about how it works before being shown a series of video clips on a computer screen. The clips feature everyday road scenes and contain at least one developing hazard - but one of the clips will feature two developing hazards.
Tell me where you'd find the information for the recommended tyre pressures for this car and how tyre pressures should be checked. Manufacturer's guide, use a reliable pressure gauge, check and adjust pressures when tyres are cold, don't forget spare tyre, remember to refit valve caps. Tell me how you make sure your head restraint is correctly adjusted so it provides the best protection in the event of a crash.
Unfortuantely, statistics show that new drivers of any age are more likely to have a collission within the first two years of passing their test than at any other time in their driving career. While this is really just down to a lack of experience insurance premiums merely reflect the increased risk.
On your first lesson, you will need to print and produce your licence information. Use this link to get the appropriate information required by your instructor for your first lesson. Paul is a top guy. Got me in as soon as he could, covered all the major areas and provided consistent helpful feedback despite myself being a constant pain in the bum. Passed First time! Paul's reassuring and authoritative approach meant that I felt secure enough to make my own mistakes and learn from them.

I've had lessons before with other driving schools and failed twice.I was recommended to Paul by my friend and today i've passed my test at the 3rd attempt. My first lesson with Paul he put me at ease, and advised me on my weak points. With practice my driving improved much more with Paul than with other driving schools. Many thanks Paul, see you on the road.
