Steve was a great instructor. It was his unique approach towards instructing that ensured I passed my test first time. He was professional, polite and always punctual for lessons. He not only taught me what i needed to know to simply pass my test, but also taught me how to be a safe, considerate driver. He is very patient and has a very friendly calm not so serious attitude.

But at the same time as professional as any other instructor. You get what you pay for with Steve, from professional well presented hand-outs with all necessary information on at the end of your lessons and also a top of the range vehicle to learn how to drive in. He made learning how to drive fun and enjoyable. Something i can't say for other instructors I've been in a car with.

As a complete beginner with no experience in driving whatsoever, Steve has made driving feel very easy right from the beginning. With detailed clear instructions, Steve has been able to direct my driving skills into the right directions eliminating bad habits. Steve has flexible timing schedules which allow lessons to be taken at your leisure. Steve is fully aware of the road and new situations arriving during the lessons to ensure safe driving is maintained throughout the lesson.

At the end of every lesson Steve writes down an evaluation of the lesson. This includes areas of improvements, areas of strength and how the next lesson should develop in order to maintain good driving skills progress.

I really enjoyed doing my lessons with belt up driving academy and the handouts that i was given helped out a lot. I felt like I learnt a lot during the conversations i had with my instructor Steve during lessons. His the reason why I passed first time and took the practical test with confidence.
