An intensive or semi-intensive course can be anywhere between 10 to 40 hours depending on previous driving experience.

To take an intensive or semi intensive course with us you must hold a valid UK/EU provisional driving license and you must have passed the DSA Theory Test. If you have not passed the theory test and need any help with booking or information on this then please get in touch.

Following a driving assessment lesson I will be able to recommend how many hours of tuition you will require to be test ready. We will also discuss over how many weeks you wish to take the course. Once this has all been agreed the practical test will be booked. I will then arrange for you to start your course between 1-4 weeks before your test date and with the final day of your training will be on your test day.

Intensive / semi intensive courses are spread over a 1-4 week period depending on your ability and your schedule.

My name is Kevin Meadows and I have been teaching learner drivers as a fully qualified driving instructor since 2005. Having previously worked for the larger driving schools as a franchisee I now run an independant driving school and specialise in automatic driving lessons. I am a Grade A driving instructor with over 30 year of driving experience including cars, heavy goods vehicles and motorcycles.

Please remember that the closer together your lessons are then the less likely you will have forgotten what you were taught in the previous lesson which will result in a quicker pass and saving you time and money. The current test fee for a practical car test is 62.00 for weekday test and 75.00 for a weekend test.

All of your driving lessons will be in a new Toyota Yaris Hybrid auto. I have found this car to be the ideal automatic car for teaching learner drivers. It has a very smooth automatic gearbox and has great all round visibilty allowing the pupil to do all the necessary driving test manouveres with ease.

Your driving test will be taken at Brookmount Court driving test centre in Cambridge. I will familiarize you with the Cambridge test routes on your driving lessons before your driving test so you will be fully prepared.
