Sky Blue Driving School Coventry

The worst instructor. I wish I had read these reviews before wasting my money. The instructor is so aggressive and he is always busy with his mobile phone. AVIOD HIM

Critical: Communication, Professionalism Didn't turn up, waited for over half an hour.

The good reviews are fake, Kam pressured me into giving him a good review after I passed (which I only passed because I've had a lot of lessons with other instructors previously- he was even surprised I passed but yet didn't advise me not to take the test ). He mumbles and when you ask him to be clear he starts shouting at you, doesn't pay attention to what you're doing instead reads newspapers.

He knows he's is rubbish at teaching that's why his prices are low and why he pays/pressures people to give him 5 stars. Wasn't going to leave a review but thought I need to be honest.

Hi my name is Omer I passed my driving test in Warwick by the help of my amazing instructor Kam. I started My driving practice with sky blue driving school when I got his number from a friend who has also passed with Kam. I really enjoyed my lessons with sky blue dvs and I recommend to others to go him.

1. I have never come across such a worse instructor in my life. Kam is constantly on his phone when he should be giving you advice and teaching you these new skills instead.

2. He will take you on the route to his ex-wifes house or a recent girl he's been talking to just to look into their houses and stalk them (yes I notice, Kam).

3. Kam was late and is always late for every lesson of the many lessons I've had with them. Moreover, he calls to reschedule lessons EVERY-time and not once does he answer his texts or pick up his own phone calls UNLESS I put my phone on no caller ID.

In other words, he does not care if you have a driving question or need to call him to reschedule etc etc. He is a greedy, money-hungry elder man. He does not care to teach you!

4. The good reviews he miraculously has are FAKE. The bad reviews he has are all telling the truth. Take my advice and save your money. I don't care how desperate you are, I would never recommend you this instructor.

I was very frustrated with other instructors always cancelling on me and not getting back to me. Kam was great though, very reliable, always upfront if he was ever delayed for a lesson. I did two months of weekly automatic lessons and ended up passing the practical test on the first try this week, with only 3 minors. Very happy with this result and would recommend Kam to anyone that is looking fr a reliable driving instructor.

He is a good man. But he is not skilled enough to teach driving. Unfortunately I do not recommend him for professional driving. I passed in few classes as I had 10 years driving experience. But he is not suitable for new drivers. If you are a new learner find a person who is honest and calm to teach you the right details right way. Thanks.

I never leave bad reviews but I want to do this to help others. This instructor was rude, always shouting really loud. Got aggressive over nothing. Literally shouting so loud people on the street would be looking. Sometimes I felt like walking out the car because he was Just shouting. He would show up 30 mins late and cut the lesson short, he wouldn't teach me anything. Was always on his phone, reading the newspaper, listening to music.

He hates his students, just wants money. It's better you find a good kind instructor who doesn't scare you away from driving. It's better to pay a few extra pound because honestly he was the worst instructor I had.

AWFUL INSTRUCTOR! PLEASE AVOID AT ALL COSTS! I had two lessons with Kam and having told people of my experiences with him they urged me to change instructors immediately. He's late, rude and cuts your time short! On my first lesson (never ever driven a car before) he let me drive on the main road, major roundabouts around Coventry, a duel carriageway and the Warwick Bypass.

He didn't talk to me during the lesson, about tips or what to watch out for, nothing. just gave me instructions such as "left, right, straight on etc." On my second lesson, I went on the Coventry Ring Road, A444 and the motorway! Again, not having a clue what to do, he didn't help me or talk to me, nothing. During both lessons, Kam would listen to the Radio (so loud that I couldn't hear his instruction), answer the phone to customers, would write on his paper work on his lap (not looking out for me and other road users), would speak in such a way that I felt under pressure constantly.

I even caught him napping during a lesson, when I was approaching the Blue Ribbon roundabout on my second lesson. Awful experience and I don't want anyone else to go through anything like I did (but they probably will unfortunately) However, I have had my third lesson with Yonis from Acclaim Driving School who is absolutely brilliant! So calm, talks me through everything and puts a lot of confidence in me. Also doesn't shout when you make a mistake. For two hours, there's only a 4 increase in price from Kam to Yonis! Don't make the same mistake as I did!

Do not go anywhere near this driving school. Awful experience! Worst instructor I've ever came across. I don't think he turned up on time for a single lesson and when I'm talking late this could be up to 45 mins to an hour. My first ever lesson with these the instructor actually fell asleep! Would constantly knock my confidence down to his own in capabilities, not supportive in the slightest and can become very agressive!

I lost count how many times the instructor would use his phone during the lesson and make calls to other learners. I went with this driving school 4 months ago after being close to test standard but my previous instructor had to quite due to illness, 4 months on and I have gone backwards and feel back to square one with no confidence in driving whatsoever. I would never write a review but I don't want other learners to experience what I've experienced and to be put off driving!

When I drive my kids to school every day and then go to office, I realize how empowering is driving your own vehicle. I didn’t felt this joy and being this confident before driving my own car. Thank you Sky Blue Driving School for such a detailed driving training and building up my confidence!

Driving is much more than just moving your car along the roads. My driving instructor at the Sky Blue Driving School introduced me with the art of driving and ingrained in me that driving is a very responsible activity. Thanks to him that I now drive so well!

First lesson today. Instructor was absolutely hostile and unfriendly! Didn't even present him self at the beginning and was really late. At his arrival no apology or whatsoever. Also immediately jumped into what should be done as soon as I got into the passenger front seat. Wouldn't recommend it at all. There are better ones out there and definetely more cost effective.

I would like to admire the sincerity, attentiveness and dedication of their staffs. These guys introduced me to all parts of a vehicle. Thanks for boosting my confidence. Kudos!

One of my friends had suggested me their name, and I am glad that she did. The instructors are absolutely amazing and know their craft really well. They had full control throughout even if the steering was in my hands. I am extremely satisfied with their training modules and with certainly recommend them to all.

I completely agree with all the negative comments! The instructor i had( i don't know his name because he never introduced himself to me) was rude impatient loud with no respect and indifferent! I only had one lesson which didnt even last up to an hour due to his terrible behaviour, lack of teaching skills and constant shouting. If he wasn't busy yelling at me( that's his way of teaching) he was reading texts or answering phone calls. PLEASE AVOID FOR YOUR OWN GOOD AND SAFETY I've never ever rated or commented before but i felt the need to warn others sky blue driving school should be shut down

Thanks a lot for the course. I did avail the help from the professionals here. They are quite cordial and have the tenacity to make you understand right from the grass root level. I am taking the opportunity to thank the entire team and I wish them all the best.

I can say that this driving school is very good in our locality and they do really have some great instructors that teach you patiently. I was there last summer for an intensive course and it really made me an amazing driver and now when I take my father on a ride on the weekends he smiles at me to see me driving like a professional. For me, this is the best place where you can acquire some good driving skills.

I big thank you to all the professionals working here !!! It was a great help from them !!! I was not able to drive my cars in tumultuous condition, but after I got quality assistance from this service provider I can now drive the cars with ease.

Not even one star rating, do not touch this driving school with a long stick. Never turns up on time.
Speaks on his phone for most of the lesson rather than concentrate on teaching, still owes me money as I paid for block lessons but was constantly let own.
Contacted him several times regarding money he owed me and just gave me the brush off. I highly urge people not to go with this driving school. Utter disgrace and shouldn't be teaching people how to drive

This is a great driving school! I never thought my son will learn to drive so well within three weeks and he was very good at taking the turns as well as giving the break at the right moment. I am very happy that I admitted my son to this driving school he has learnt so well.

I was actually surprised on the first day when I went there. The teachers are amazing and the school is very well planned. Since, I knew nothing about cars and hence, I had to start from the beginning and that is why I was taking the intensive course. I should say that at the end of the course I feel that driving is nothing so difficult but is very easy once you start the engine and get going. Well, all these words came because they taught me that it is easy to drive if you love driving your car.

One of the best approaches that I have noticed during my course was the mock test being conducted by them. It made be rectify my mistakes in quick time. Today I can proudly boast that I can drive in any roads without any hassle. Thank you guys, cheers.

Indeed instrumental services. I have availed courses from them. It is quite cheap and can be availed by several. What I can stay, this school is not a fake and they do have all the authentic papers that are needed in order to run a business.

If I had to speak a few words about the very amazing team of Sky Blue Driving School, it would certainly be all praises from my end. They are simply outstanding with the way they train every student with utmost amount of care and diligence. Highly recommended to all!
