Our most popular course is designed to run over 12 weeks (36hrs). We pride ourselves on our timescales, and always put the pupil's needs first. Your training course will cover everything you need to know to pass your driving test, and much more besides. We will give you the understanding of your techniques you will need to deal with new situations you have not come across before. Being trained to drive like a robot will not prepare you for what comes after the test.So if you want to acquire your driving licence sooner rather than later, contact us now, and we will help you achieve your goal for less than you might think. Welcome to 21st Century Driving, and as our name suggests, we are the refreshing, modern and progressive driving school you have been looking for. If you are an absolute beginner, and show an aptitude for learning, we would normally recommend our 36 hour training programme. This driver training course is designed to take you to test readiness in 36 hours of driving lessons, over 3 modules. It has to be stressed at this point that being ready for the driving test is a pre-requisite for use of the car on the day.
Lesson availability is ZERO for the next 4 weeks, and VERY LOW throughout June into July at the moment. The next 4 weeks are detailed below and will be updated on a weekly basis. We are currently not booking further ahead than this in order to prioritise existing clients with upcoming test bookings.

Steve is a great driving instructor, i was so nervous starting my driving lessons i had backed out of doing them for years. One of my friends recommended Steve and straight from the first lesson he kept things simple and to the point, calmed my nerves and gave me confidence. Around 10-15 lessons later i had passed my test first attempt and haven’t looked back since. Thanks again Steve!

Steve was really helpful, I couldn’t of asked for anyone better as an instructor! He was my 3rd instructor but he made me feel so relaxed and confident in my driving skills, and I passed first time! 3 years on I have no crashes or scratches and even after the 1st day I got my car I felt so comfortable driving after the help of Steve

Steve has been a fantastic instructor.. I was extremely nervous on starting my automatic driving journey.. but he put me at ease from the very start..lessons were in-depth as well as fun! Even with lockdown putting a halt to lessons he kept in touch with what was happening.. when lessons restarted it is all done to the most top standard with the car interior fully cleaned after every pupil. However today was my last lesson with Steve..as I passed my driving test first time! .. Thank you for being a fabulous instructor!

Steve is a fantastic instructor who does everything he can to help you pass. He is brilliant at explaining the concepts of driving without being condescending, and lets you get on with things as soon as you feel ready. Since I have an awkward timetable at university, Steve has been more than helpful with arranging my lessons at odd times and some last minute rearrangements too. I honestly couldn't recommend anyone more!

I had other instructors before Steve and found that I was going nowhere and wasting money. But with Steve it's a completely different story, I find my driving is improving on every lesson and my confidence has also improved. I have managed to book my test already which I never believed would be possible but Steve is such a good instructor. Not only are my driving skills improving but also my confidence and self-belief when driving. Thank you!
