We don't just prepare you for your test, we help you with skills not on the test like using Sat Nav, Parking on the Right, changing a Tyre or bulbs. We will also help you with any tricky local roads that you request.

Learning to Drive is one of the most important life skills you can possess and SuperDriver is here to train you to become a confident and responsible driver. SuperDriver is your local, professional and fully qualified driving school based in the city of Sheffield and covering surrounding areas. We have a friendly team of male and female driving instructors who are highly recommended for high quality and competitively-priced driving lessons.
This is designed for anybody who wants to combine flexibility with budget, you can book and take as many lessons as you want each week, many customers take this option as it fits around their busy schedule. Our fast pass intensive driving courses are designed for people who want to pass their driving test within 1 or 2 weeks.
When you have passed your theory test, you can apply for your practical test. The theory test is made up of two parts, 50 multiple choice questions and a hazard perception test. You will need to pass both parts. Theory and Hazard Perception training is available to you via your instructor and our Theory Test Pro website.
The practical test is designed to see if you can drive safely in different road and traffic conditions, know the Highway Code and can show this through your driving ability. To cancel or reschedule your test, you need to give 3 full clear working days notice. You may reschedule your test up to 10 times (make sure your Driving Instructor is available).
Don't worry, the safety check questions are not difficult. They are basic checks and maintenance issues that you answer at the test centre and operation of vehicle functions whilst on the move. You need these for life, not just for your driving test. These are the basics, if you would like to know how to operate the radio, change light bulbs if one blows or fit the spare wheel in the event of a puncture, our SuperDriver instructors will be happy to show you how.After you have signed and presented your paper work and passed your eye sight test, you will be asked one Tell Me question.

I took lessons from Steve. He is very patient, understanding, explains improvement areas well and give really good pointers that will be in my mind for a long time. He never got frustrated during lessons but rather encouraged me to learn from it. I think without his help it would have been very difficult to pass my test. I had taken driving lessons from a different school previously and failed my driving test. Luckily I came across super driver and after just a handful of lessons with my instructor Ian I was able to pass my driving test comfortably. He is probably THE best instructor. His years of experience and useful techniques can help anybody pass their driving test and also drive confidently after the test. I would highly recommend Ian from super driver! All the best!

I have been driving with Ian for over a year and he is very patient and calm, which is helpful I as was exceptionally nervous in the car. He recommended I push my driving test back as I wasn't ready and it was definitely the right choice as I passed first time at that later date. He is nice and friendly and an efficient teacher who seems to genuinely care about his students.
I would recommend SuperDriver because of the useful Web Theory practise that you can use to study for the Theory Test as well. I will be sending my two brothers his way when they're old enough!

Would highly recommend Ian as a driving instructor - been having driving lessons with Ian for about a year and passed my driving test first time! couldn't have done it without him! Always calm and professional but could still have a laugh with him which made me feel even more comfortable and at ease. 5 stars all round!

Passed my test today and it's all thanks to Ian- I strongly recommend him as an instructor. He is not only patient and calm but makes you feel really comfortable and relaxed while driving. He was really helpful with working around the hours I could do and always arrived punctually. Ian challenged me with some hard routes and roundabouts but I'm so thankful he did because it made the test feel almost easy! Thanks Ian!

Prior to having lessons with Ian (after a few years since my last lesson with another instructor) I had little confidence in my driving ability going into the first lesson. I shouldn't have been worried as I quickly discovered he's an excellent instructor and I always felt like I was making good progress with every lesson. While repetition is important while learning to drive, my lessons were never boring as Ian does a good job of mixing it up and making sure all aspects of your driving are as polished as they possibly can be - he doesn't cut any corners (excuse the pun). Ian is always looking to make you the best driver you can be and isn't there to get you the bare minimum of just a pass - he'll get you passed as a confident, well practiced, experienced driver.
He'll push you at the right times and always recognises any aspect of your drive that needs work. You can also always have a good chat with him and he's got a good sense of humour which helps you relax. He's very punctual, arriving a couple of minutes early for every lesson so I was never kept waiting. Overall I'd highly recommend SuperDriver as I genuinely can't fault it.

I started learning to drive with no experience in August 2014 and I am now a confident driver, having passed in 3 months. This was down to my excellent instructor Gareth. He was calm during my lessons which made me feel comfortable and this transferred into my driving. I thoroughly enjoyed all my lessons and Gareth ensured I understood every aspect of driving by sharing his experiences with me. I would recommend him to anyone!
