A truly horrific experience. My instructor made inappropriate and suggestive comments during my course which made me uncomfortable and upset, but because I had been told previously that they were incredibly busy I didn't request another driver as I was worried that they would inform my instructor of my complaint and make things even worse for me in the car. Also, because I'd paid to take my driving test, I assumed that I would at least I got the opportunity to take it, but no.

They told me the day before that they weren't letting me take it and it wasn't their problem. This was after I had been made to sit in McDonald's for an hour whilst my instructor had a coffee break. It wasn't until I got home and told people of my experience that I realised what a scam it was and decided to make a formal complaint. However, when I rang the company and explained what had happened, I was met by a terribly rude and nasty woman (I believe her name is Sarah) who told me that I "should've just left" if my instructor was that bad and that it was my own fault for staying.

I tried to explain that I needed to pass my test for my job so I was desperate but she was just so unkind and ignorant. I then requested to speak to a manager but was told that she would not be able to call me for another two weeks. I wasn't happy about this but I left my contact details and agreed on a date to be contacted, but I never heard anything.

This place is a complete scam, which hires the most insulting and ill-mannered people I've ever had the displeasure of meeting/speaking to. The only good quality of this company is the lovely owner of the B&B where the drivers stay. She was warm, welcoming and kind-hearted, so I was grateful for her at least.

Passed today my extended test with only 5 minors with Alan and Kim dose a really good breakfast would highly recommend

I did the 18 hour course and had Alan as my instructor. I suffer with severe anxiety and Alan managed to help ease my nerves before the test which is usually impossible. He's a very calm, patient instructor and I couldn't fault him with anything. Very informative, helps with any weak spots in my driving without being rude or shouting, also went over a lot of the driving tests and has a brilliant way of teaching manouvers (and teaching in general). I managed to pass my test with only 3 minors. Alan is by far the best instructor I've had, and I don't think I'd have passed without him. Thanks again!

Would highly recommend Learn Drive Ltd. Both my sons have been taught by two different driving instructors within this company and both have had such a positive experience. They are a professional company, who are reliable and really go the extra mile if unforeseen things happen like the test centre cancelling a test at short notice. Thank you to Hollie, Sarah and Dave for all you have done.

Both the bnb manager and the instructors were fantastic! The bnb had lovely options for breakfast and the materials provided really helped me to prepare for the practical test. The instructor made sure that we covered all routes that might be used in the test and this helped me have a general knowledge of how to go about the route. I fully recommend using this company!

Do not book with this RIP OFF COMPANY! my daughter was refused her driving test yesterday by Mark, he did not want to drive to the test centre stating due to icy roads, the test centre would be closed, although every lesson he drove her to the same area, he then stated if she failed it would reflect badly against him! she was very disappointed and upset she was unable to take the test, he continued to check the weather updates, although my daughter contacted the centre, and they confirmed the centre was in deed open today, and if the instructor had notified them 3 days earlier the test could of been rebooked, which he was aware of! if that was the case! he still refused to allow her to take the test stating she was not ready, she left a day early due to the negativity of the army instructor, he shouted continuously throughout the driving lessons and she stated this was the worst experience of her entire life, she booked a driving test, when she returned back to Birmingham, following the driving lesson the driving instructor stated that she is 100% ready for the test and could not understand why she was refused, she has 3 jobs and has worked so hard, taking lessons prior to arriving in Blackpool, they have ripped my daughter off and i will now be taking legal action, please be aware, if you need to wait longer in the area you live to take your test, then it really is best to wait, they have robbed her of over 1000.00 they are utterly disgusting, how these people sleep at night is beyond me. If you do decide to book lessons in Blackpool please do not book with this company, they really have gone down hill, i will never recommend them ever again.

Loved my intensive course with Sarah. explained all the things I needed to smooth out over the 13 hours, passed 1st time with 2 minors. couldn't have done it without learn drive. Absolutely recommend

I did a 5 day intensive course and stayed at the hotel. The hotel was clean and lovely to stay in and Kim prepared a great breakfast and hospitality. I had Steve as a driving instructor and we went through all of the basics and he made me an extremely careful driver. He always arrived on time and was the most patient instructor I have had and for any mistake I made he would make the time to pull me aside and go over it until I understood what I did. I wanted to become the best driver I could be and that's what I got. I passed 2nd time with 3 minors. I would recommend the course to anyone

Lessons are a good price and instructors are incredibly friendly and helpful. I had Sarah as my instructor and I couldn’t have made a better decision. She helped to gained my confidence in driving. Would absolutely recommend!

I would definitely recommend this course. My instructor Steve was the best I’ve ever had. He was so patient with me and helped me progress quickly. Regardless of the outcome, the course helps to gain experience and confidence. I would like to say a massive thank you to Steve!!!

My experience with learndrive has been Phenomenal, very professional caring team at the Blackpool branch who have been very accommodating during the waiting period due to COVID-19. Once it was available to start testing again I was swiftly contacted and they was more than happy to work around my work schedule to fit me in. My instructor Darren was a credit to the company, very professional and had amazing insite of teaching methods that helped me on a personal level to gain understanding.

When I made a mistake I wasn’t made to feel bad, he was very professional and explained to me in a proactive way what to do next time and kept me at ease. In my personal opinion for someone who he never been behind the wheel of a car the 7 day course was perfect and I would highly recommend to any brand new driver to take the opportunity and chose this course, it provided sufficient time to get to grips with everything and gets the information in your head quickly ready for your test after the week.

Due to the drive bing hours and knowledge passed to me by Darren I felt very confident going into my test and the praise and confidence boost I was given by Darren out my mind right at ease meaning I passed first time. I am delighted with the outcome and can’t thank the Blackpool learndrive team enough”

Learn drive are absolutely top class Darren the instructor is very laid back makes you feel comfortable and relaxed and very informative about your driving skills would highly recommend them, forget the rest and go to the BEST thank you all

Started an intensive course 6 days ago with little to zero experience with Darren and passed today with zero faults. Brilliant instructor and I couldn’t recommend more.

Darren is a very patient and courteous tutor. I was not looking forward to the driving test but I was made to feel as comfortable as possible. Definitely worth it. I can't thank him enough.

This company is fab. Both my children, Lauren and Harry, passed at the end of their course. Darren the instructor was very friendly, helpful and in the words of my kids "super chilled". The centre was well organised, helped with any questions we had and were really informative about the new test format last year. Absolutely value for money. We have no hesitations in recommending this company. Thank you.

Cannot thank or recommend Learndrive Ltd enough. Darren did an amazing job teaching a 50 year old woman (who is always right!) with no previous driving experience how to drive. I took a 7 day course but was very poorly all week so didn't pass first time (totally down to me and not the course). Then took a 2 day one to cover all the changes made to the test in December and passed!!

I'm so pleased. If you are thinking of taking lessons look no further. Also recommend their pass agreement. No quibble when booking the 2 day one. Intensive courses may appear expensive but when broken down and you look at what you learn they are actually more economical so don't wait 50 years like me get stuck in and get them booked!!! Wish I had done it sooner!!!

Hi I passed on Friday with Dave what a great driving instructor he is... It can get intense at times because he makes you clock every sign every car door opening speed limits every road sign.. 😨 But do you know what this is his job to get you perfect on the road & take notice of what's going on around you... So thank you Dave for helping me to be a better driver & pass my test

Everyone wanting to learn to drive should do this course!! From the moment I checked into Hazeldene my whole stay was made easy. Lovely room, great food and my instructor was patient, explained everything and allowed me to go at my own pace. I felt no pressure, jut encouragement all the way so when the test came around on Friday the 13th of was confident.

Well organised,great and experienced driving instructor, passed after 4 days of lessons on a shared course. 100% recommend and great value for money.

I did 5 days with learn drive a year or two ago. It really upsets me to see the negative reviews as I actually did not get to test standards on my mock exam because I was literally trembling with nerves and as such I didn't pass. I had read a couple of bad reviews (not many) online so it really felt like a risk booking but my instructor was friendly and the boy I shared my driving with did actually pass(he did 7 days) and was also super lovely.

The b&b owners were so sweet and kind and catered to my veggie meal needs and I really enjoyed a week in Blackpool driving around and still talk about it to this day. I am currently awaiting new employment and saving up so I can come back and do another course(7 day) all these years later. I can't speak for everyone else's instructor but can whole heartedly promise if I hadn't been so nervous I would have passed and that was all down to my instructor and the b&b staff at learn drive.

I hope that the negative reviews aren't true, and would advise you to take your theory test at home so you have less to worry about though. Thanks to my instructor I think his name was John for boosting my driving confidence after driving in London with exploitative instructors ruined it, even when I got to nervous at the end was still work every penny in my opinion.

I have had a fantastic experience with learn-drive. The tuition was shared (30 hours) in the automatic. I had only limited experience of driving in a manual and never an auto. The instructor was very clear that he wasn't a miracle worker who can help you magically pass a test, if you listen and take on board what is said it should be easy enough for someone with some experience to pass.

The hotel accommodation was great, meals and breakfast were fantastic, I couldn't find fault with anything. I did pass but if I didn't the review would have been the same as I went with the understanding I was learning a life-skill and if I passed at the end it was going to be a bonus. You get out what you put in.

Very pleased from start to finish of course very friendly staff would tell friends and family about course the accommodation was very good as well friendly staff and very help full so very happy over all thanks for the help.

Thank you so much to Darren for helping me learn to drive. I was extremely anxious about even being in a car and the idea of being on the road gave me panic attacks but with Darren's patience and support I managed to conquer my fear and pass at the end of the week. I would definitely recommend the course to others and actually have already. Thank you so much for helping me pass and for accommodating me when I needed to change my test so I could be there for my son's first day of preschool. I cannot believe what I've managed to do in a week and can't thank Darren enough and am I glad I've made him proud passing first time.

Amazing course, money well spent. Shane was my instructor and I passed first time and makes you feel comfortable whilst driving and learning. Well recommended.

I have just passed my test with learndrive and I simply cannot praise this company enough. My instructor was Sarah who was faultless, she was direct and no nonsense when necessary but built my confidence massively ready for the dreaded test. I am 44 years old and have had hundreds of lessons and several failed tests over the years. I did the 10 hr course and have never felt better prepared for anything.

Thank you Sarah. I stayed at the Hazeldene hotel and Linda and Albert are two of the warmest friendliest people I have met in a long time. The food was excellent the rooms were comfortable and warm, what more do you need. If you are considering an intensive course then look no further. Nothing is guaranteed and they don't pretend it is but I for one can't fault them.

I passed first time last week after doing a five day one to one tuition course. My instructor was George and as others have said about their instructors, I can't praise him enough. I was a little bit worried because I found out that my test would be in Blackburn and I wouldn't know the roads. As my instructor said, once you've learned how to drive, you can drive anywhere and I totally agree.

I only got 4 minors which is pretty good as you're allowed up to 15. As for the 'budget' accommodation which learn drive provided for me at the Hazeldene, it was lovely. Home cooked food every night which was beautiful and a great full English breakfast in the morning or cereal if you wish. Thank you learn drive, can't thank you enough! I've recommended this place to everybody, just one minor fault with the course.. Blackpool is freeeeezing :)

I had a great experience with Learndrive back in October. My instructor Sarah was great. Very straight to the point, told me exactly how it is. I put a lot of pressure on myself to pass, due to being pregnant and other reasons I needed to pass this test!
Im not the most positive person but Sarah managed to push through that and helped me pass my test first time! Which I think shocked us both a little! Thank you Sarah for all the effort you put in. I really appreciate it.

I cant thank you enough for my learndrive experience i loved every minute of it my instructor George was awesome the best instructor ive ever had! Never met one so calm and positive he gave me so much confidence to believe i could do it and i did!! I passed with only 3 minors linda and albert who ran the hotel were lovely i would highly recommend anyone that wants to learn ro drive to do one of the courses. A few people i know are going to look into it many thanks to learndrive and George

I recently passed my driving test with Steve and he was great after many disappointments in the past and finding driving impossible he helped me to gain my confidence back and was very patient with me so I would definitely recommend learn drive and Steve without a doubt 🙂 Thank you for all you’re help 🙂 100% would recommend
