As someone who is knocking on and nervous about learning to drive later in life, I couldn't hope for a better teacher than Geoff. I have my lessons with Geoff, since day one he has made me feel very comfortable and made me feel more confident when driving. Geoff is a great professional and treats you like a friend and not just a customer and he is there to make sure are test ready and can drive to the best of your ability and you learn at your own pace, I would definitely recommend Geoff capes to anyone wanting to learn to drive. It's a professional school with great communication and helpful reminder texts prior to each lesson. I did automatic lessons with Ian and I couldn't have asked for a better teacher. He's firm but fair. He won't mollycoddle you or go easy on you when you make mistakes but he'll take the time to explain why you could do things better rather than just adopt a "because that's the way it is" approach.
I personally really benefited from his teaching methods, especially when it comes to practicing maneuvers. I passed my practical test today on the first go and a lot of that is down to Ian's help. Thank you!

Had my first driving lessons this morning with Milan Ali, couldn't of gone any better, he explained things very well, adapted the lesson well to suit me, very chatty friendly man! Booked in for my next lesson for next week already and intend to book a block! I'm exited for my next ones rather than nervous! So thankyou!

Just had my first lesson with Alan and it was brilliant. Calmed my nerves, made me feel at ease, everything was well explained with helpful little analogies and he made sure I was clear on everything and we went at a pace that suited me. Really excited about my upcoming lessons and (hopefully) passing soon. really cant recommend enough.

It took me a while to decide who to go with for my driving lessons and I’m glad I chose Geoff Capes driving, I am currently having lessons with David, I was very nervous to start with but David made me feel very comfortable straight away, he is very patient and understanding and is helping me build my confidence.

I passed my test first time with only two minors thanks to my instructor Paul, he is an amazing instructor who takes his time to explain things and teaches to an outstanding level. I previously had lessons with a very poor instructor from a different company, so moving to Paul was the best thing i did, he got me out of any bad habits the other instructor taught me and massively improved my confidence. I would highly recommend Paul to anyone

I initially started driving over ten years ago, and can only lt describe that as a disaster. I honestly thought that nothing would get me behind the wheel again, and even if I did I would never build the confidence to be able to pass a driving test. I started learning with the fabulous Geoff, and can say that thanks to his exceptional patience, and his wonderful sense of humour (what a laugh we had!) I was really put at ease, he was a wonderful teacher and made me look forward to lessons! Thanks to this I managed to pass on my first attempt yesterday and I couldn't be more grateful!!! 5/5 I was so scared about going on my first lesson, there was really no need to Geoff took everything at my paste very laid back easy to talk to and get along with now on the main roads and driving home never thought I would be something I'd be able to do, such a lovely man and an amazing instructor!

Passed my driving test first time! I am not a confident person in general and driving has always been something that scares me. I passed on my first try thanks to Geoff's magnificient ability to help me feel comfortable behind the wheel and handle myself during the test. I also warms my heart how invested he is in my life outside our lessons and it did help me feel better about driving because it shows me how genuine a person he is.
The lessons are reasonably priced, and he will give you 110% and more at each lesson. Very chuffed about my results and i only have my driving instructor to thank for helping me to get here.

I was extremely impressed with my instructor Ian. In previous driving experience I had massive confidence knocks, I started lessons with Ian my confidence was rebuilt resulting in passing my driving test on the first attempt. Having Paul as my instructor was Brilliant, he's really patient and makes you feel relaxed straight away. I felt confident going into my test as I knew that my instructor knew I was ready.I also did a lesson in the snow that was really fun, and I would recommend to anyone learning-if you can drive in the snow you can drive anywhere! (despite slightly damaging the car)
