The founder Duane has an impressive amount of experience under his belt having worked as both an emergency and heavy vehicle driver.

His approach to teaching is calm, professional and confident and he went above and beyond to deliver a short but intense driving course for me. I had previously had an Automatic Australian Drivers License but wanted to gain experience using a manual transmission before taking my U.K. driving test. It was a pleasure working with Duane who was extremely supportive and ran through everything in thorough detail. He also has a great sense of humour so we got on very well!

Duane is a fantastic driving instructor. I would highly recommend him to a learner driver. He is also very friendly and calm. Not only that, but the way he teaches driving is great and is excellent for removing any faults you may have with your driving!

Absolutely amazing. I had Duane and he was a great instructer, great patience and quite a laugh too which was really relaxing. Good at getting you to remember the extra important parts that are easy to forget. Amazing. Would 10000% recommend.

Halcyon driving school are extremely good. My instructor was patient with me and took the time to explain everything detail. If I didn’t understand he would “dumb it down for me” started learning in January 2019, passed first time may 2019!! Speaks for itself how good Duane and Darren are! You will not regret it, it’s opened so many doors for me and it’s thanks to Halcyon Driving school!!

Duane is very friendly instructors and he pick out your driving foults fast and work on them with you, passed on my first 15 lessons

Darren is a amazing instructor very patient and listens to you. I would recommend halcyon driving to anyone that's thinking on starting there lessons. I've just passed first time with these guys there amazing to work with thankyou again buddy. 10/10.
