We are a Salisbury Driving School that has been successfully teaching pupils to pass the driving test. We have been operating in the Salisbury area for 30 years. Our first time pass rate is much higher than the national average. The national average pass rate is usually around 50%. The pass rate in Salisbury is similar. The government does not publish driving school or driving instructor pass rates. The government regularly checks all driving instructors. Rainbow Driver Training was assessed as 49/51 which is 96%.

The values of Rainbow Driver Training are important to us. We aim to maintain a first time pass rate well above the national and local average. We have achieved this for all of the 30 years that Rainbow Driver Training has been teaching people to pass the driving test. It is difficult for prospective pupils to find out the pass rate of a driving school.
Your training will take place in a 2017 modern air conditioned dual-controlled car. Currently we use a VW Polo, a modern hatchback car that has the top 5* safety rating. The car is fully insured for driving tuition. Each lesson lasts a full sixty minutes. There will not be any other pupils or trainee instructors in the car on your lesson.
Driving Tests are conducted in the UK by the Driving Standards Agency (DSA). The Direct Gov site contains really useful information for learners and new drivers. The national average pass rate and the pass rate at the Salisbury test centre are typically in the range 45-50%. Rainbow Driver Training exceeds these pass rates.
