National Driving Centre

Initially, I was surprised that the course was only 7 days long, as I expected it to be longer. However, it turned out to be adequate time to prepare me, especially since I have only been driving for 7 weeks. Top-notch company!

I had a great week with Ray and just passed my practical test today. With my background in driving buses, there were some similarities, but Ray helped me eliminate my bad habits and transition from a bus driver to an HGV driver.

I was fortunate to have Paul as my instructor this week, guiding me through everything I needed to know to pass all 3 of my CPC Module 4 assessments, reverse maneuvers, and my practical driving test flawlessly with zero faults! He was an outstanding instructor from beginning to end. I'd also like to express my gratitude to Andy for his valuable advice on staying calm during exam conditions. It clearly made a difference.

It was a fantastic experience being trained by NDC. Paul's instruction, in particular, was invaluable. His feedback on all my driving mistakes played a significant role in helping me earn my PCV license. Many thanks!

It's been a week since I passed my test and I am still over the moon! NDC has a great facility and great instructors. They are very organised and their lorries are well maintained. I really enjoyed my time there and Mark was a great instructor and I liked his method of teaching! Also make sure to check out their Youtube videos to help you with your tests especially their tips on how to Pass your Lorry driving test. I look forward to eventually doing my Class 1 with NDC in the near future!

I was absolutely over the moon with the training and facilities provided at National Driving Centre. The whole team were extremely friendly and welcoming from the first day. I had Chris as a trainer for the week, he was honest, encouraging and a flawless teacher every day. He gave me all the tools and advice I needed to pass the test on the Friday and he had 100% confidence that I would pass.

Which with his help I did. I passed on the Friday and had a job offer on the Monday which I'm glad to say I've taken and start on Monday. I'd recommend anyone looking to get their HGV licence to go nowhere else but The National Driving centre in Croydon.

I've passed my HGV practical driving test today. Woohoo. My instructor was Andy. Very friendly good guy. I've done some practice sessions then reverse parking test then show me tell me CPC module 4 test and finally practical test. All in all very intensive, tense training and good results. Definitely recommend to everyone.

Very good staff communication. All staff well trained buses are amazing. Within 6 days of training I got my Categories D license. I prefer to the NDC for further HGV training if I need. very good training centre

Important note - I PASSED :) I researched several companies before choosing the National Driving Centre - I am so glad I did. All the instructors were friendly and helpful, free parking on site although I never bought my car as a bus stops right outside. The National Driving Centre also has a YouTube channel which I found VERY helpful with the Show and Tell questions and the reversing.

You have 2 trainees to each instructor and that works perfect - I learned huge amounts just by watching the other driver and really appreciated the break when it was his turn to drive. My instructor worked extremely hard all week with us, there was no wasted time - I actually enjoyed my training but very happy I no longer have to train :)

After extensive search decided to Enroll for C+E training at NDC. Did not regret a bit, passed my practical exam today, all credit to my instructor Andy. Very professional, knowledgeable and most of all patient. Would recommend to everybody, big thank to Team NDC.

Booked in for HGV Class 2 course and shared the cab with another student without compromising my own driving hours and benefited from having Paul as a driver instructor. Unlike other driving schools the lorry was fairly new and in excellent condition and all their instructors are signed up to the voluntary HGV instructors register to ensure high standards. Can't recommend enough. They may be a little more expensive than others but you get what you pay for.

After 3 years trying to upgrade my license from C - C+E finally I found the right place to train for. The instructors Keith and Andy are so professionals, the fleet, the program and performance of teaching, absolutely amazing. 100% recommended

Just passed my Class 2 at NDC. Great, great experience. All the staff are really friendly and professional, my instructor Dave was an absolute gent and really clear and concise. The courses are decently priced and you will learn everything you need to pass first time Honestly I wouldn't bother looking anywhere else for HGV training and it was definitely worth the long journey to Croydon every day. Looking forward to watching the documentary when it's out
