JCL Driver Training has joined the WTTL Consortium to deliver Driver CPC using our knowledge of the subjects to be delivered. The courses to choose from can be part of your company strategy to develop your driver's knowledge and interest in the profession they have chosen. Below are the driver CPC Courses which can be split into two 3 hour modules of your choice relevant to your needs.

SAFED for Vans course has shown that even though we can drive, how we drive has a big significance to the wear and tear of the vehicles components, fuel use and our stress levels. The 47 drivers who took part demonstrated an improved driving technique with an average reduction in gear changes of 42.6%, an average fuel saving of22.9% with only an increased overall journey time of 3%.
J C L Driver training has been working with companies throughout the UK to enhance and develop drivers skill in the art of trailer towing. Working on the safe use of trailers, trailer checks, loading weight distribution with regard to tow hitch weight, safe coupling / uncoupling techniques and driving with competent reversing ability. To tow a trailer weighing more than 3,500 kg with a car or small vehicle (category B), you'll need to pass a test for category C1E.
Open the bonnet, identify where the brake fluid reservoir is and tell me how you would check that you have a safe level of hydraulic brake fluid. Apply the indicators or hazard warning switch and check the functioning of all indicators. Bulkier, lighter items should be distributed to give a suitable 'nose weight' at the towing coupling.
