The Pass Lane is a new driving school operating in the Thanet area, based in Ramsgate but covering other nearby towns such as Margate, Broadstairs, Sandwich, Herne Bay, etc. If you live further afield please contact us and we may be able to arrange longer lessons. The Pass Lane was set up in December 2009 and started trading in January 2010.
You need to be 17 to start learning to drive and have a valid provisional licence before you take your first driving lessons. Complete a D1 form from the post office and send it to the DVLA (DVLNI in Northern Ireland) with your passport or birth certificate, and a passport-sized photo. You can also apply online.
