121 Driving School is a family run Driving School based in the North East of England. We offer Manual and Automatic Driving Tuition, using only DSA Fully Qualified Instructors. We have Instructors with over 20 years of experience of Driving Tuition. Our reputation speaks for itself with around 80% of new pupils generated via referrals, by pupils who are currently learning or who have passed their Driving Test and are happy to recommend us to family and friends.We do not offer gimmicks just to entice your business, we give everyone a free hour to either let them get used to a different tuition vehicle if they are a previous driver or just to settle them in as a new driver.

In order to start your driving lessons you must hold a valid UK provisional driving licence. You can book your lessons from a minimum of 1 or 2 hours per week, depending on your requirements, but it is up to you how many lessons you wish to take each week. Taking lessons one or two times a week is probably more suited to someone who is generally a nervous driver or who cannot take any time off work or college. You will take your lessons over a longer period of time therefore building up your confidence at your own pace.

And the reason for this? Statistics show that new drivers are more likely to have an accident in the first two years of passing their test than at any other time in their driving career. Fees for the course will vary depending on where you live and the instructor or driving school you choose. Bear in mind too that it will take a minimum of six hours, all of which need to be taken after passing your test. If more sessions are needed for you to successfully complete the course, this may add to the cost.

Following a driving assessment from one of our trained DSA qualified driving instructors, we will book the practical driving test on your behalf, you then start your course before your test depending on the amount of hours you are advised to take to pass your practical driving test. The above course is suited to someone who has a high level of concentration, as you will be given a lot of information over a short period of time, you may also be driving for up to six hours per day every day and again over a short period of time.
